Thrift store shopping is something I’ve always wanted do. I love the hunt, the excitement when finding a unique piece for such an affordable price. Vintage clothes are often very well-made with fine fabrics and lots of attention to detail, and they’re often incredibly stylish if they happen to be from a decade that’s back in style today. Have you ever heard of the saying “One girl’s trash is another girl’s treasure”? And yes, that saying is right when it comes to shopping at secondhand stores.
Every thrift store has hidden gems waiting to be found and I love to create my own style with it. Thrift shopping can be more economical and it helps broaden my style horizons. I’ve spent about an hour in that tiny shop, going through all the racks to mix and match all kinds of items. I’ve spotted the most comfy suede leather pants from Joseph (such a smooth feeling to wear them!) for around USD 80 and that black denim jacket from Luisa Spagnoli for about USD 100. The zip details are definitely my favourites. I’ve teamed up the outfit with black leather boots, black belt and white shirt. And I’m telling you now, this was not my last time shopping at a secondhand store.
Have you ever gone thrift shopping? Thanks for leaving your thoughts.
